MOBILE

In 2015, narrative mobile storytelling platform Episode hired Lucy to teach them how to write more compelling stories for teens. There she helped create concepts such as The Royal Baby, Youtube Star Hayes Grier's first mobile game and tie-in book, built a small but mighty creative team, and worked on stories for some of the biggest pop stars and movie studios in Hollywood.

Lucy then took the knowledge she'd learned about pacing, cliffhangers, and audience behavior, and began writing her own serialized mobile content for Radish Fiction. Her first story, Society of Sparrows, gained more than 100,000 reads in the first month. She has since moved that story to Wattpad to reach a new audience.

For seven years Lucy has written and consulted for a multitude of mobile gaming and content companies. Most recently, in her role as Writer & Editor at Spotlight, she co-developed and wrote “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: The Homecoming” in collaboration with Netflix. She believes mobile storytelling is only in the early stages of what it can do, and can’t wait to be a part of what’s next.
